Dr. Ing. Udo Riß
Dr. Udo Riß is the "heart" in the development history of the Vibamat. In 1989, the mechanical engineer founded DRE Dr. Riß Ellipsometerbau GmbH and received the Schmidt-Römhild Technology Award in 1995 for the development of the first submonolayer ellipsometer. He has been researching the laser-based analysis method for viruses in the air for 20 years now, and two years ago he achieved a breakthrough with the "terahertz phase coupling detector". This groundbreaking technology is his life's work.
MICHAEL BUBOLZ
Michael Bubolz is the managing director of Vibamat and owner of Michael Bubolz GmbH, a machining company that manufactures medical devices to the highest quality standards. With his advanced craftsmanship know-how from over 30 years of professional experience in the metalworking industry, he is responsible for the careful and precise production of the technical components. Due to the high demand, he plans to produce up to 100 000 units a year. About a year ago, he joined forces with Dr. Udo Riß. With the Vibamat, they are jointly investing in a revolutionary, forward-looking technology for use against the Corona pandemic.
